Your role at Sephora:

As an Assistant Marketing Manager – Sampling Strategy, you will be responsible for owning the end-to-end processes for all exception and special sampling programs and pilots including Sample Bags, gift with purchase and in-store sampling. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager Sampling Strategy, you will deliver annual strategy and oversee These programs are highly visible, cross-functional and complex that drive both online and store sales for Sephora and Sephora @ Kohl’s.


In addition you will:

  • Partner with Senior Manager Sampling Strategy to prioritize opportunities, set objectives and define KPIs in support of annual sampling plans to drive business results
  • Optimize and manage the sample bag promotional strategy and process
  • Optimize and manage the Gift with Purchase strategy and process
  • Partner with Sephora @ Kohl’s to assess expanding freestanding Sephora programs into Sephora @ Kohls locations
  • Partner with Sephora Favorites to execute best product assortment and timing to drive the highest return for the program specific KPIs
  • Own hind sighting share insights & best practices from data/analytics and turn these into. Share results cross-functionality with actions for future sampling strategies and tests
  • Work in a highly cross-functional environment with Brand Marketing, Loyalty Marketing, Promotions, Analytics, Project Management, Production, and Planning partners

We’re excited about you if you have:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of related experience in Marketing or PM
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Exceptional project management skills and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated; able to work independently and collaborate as part of a team to achieve business goals with confidence and initiative
  • Comfortable with ambiguity
  • Fluency in both the creative and analytical sides of marketing
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced, high-volume and deadline-driven environment
  • Experience directing and collaborating with external partners
  • Excellent written, verbal & interpersonal skills #LI-MB1
